Each One Teach One

What would it mean if Millions of our people were down, really down and committed to 10-10-50? Think about it for a
moment…, millions of our people following the three simple steps of 10-10-50 in their community each and every month.
The results would cause a total change in how we view ourselves and in how others view us. A successful 10-10-50
Campaign would stimulate a whirlwind of internal development initiatives and would help fuel the global development of
our people.

Let’s look at the math of what it would mean to have significant numbers of our people committed to the simple steps of
10-10-50 in any community.

*With 100 (one hundred) persons "Down With" 10-10-50, and committed only to the minimum:

1,000 volunteer hours a month to help strengthen the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$1,000.00 dollars a month donated to help fund the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$5,000.00 new dollars each month being redirected into the economy of the local community

*With 1,000 (one thousand) persons "Down With"  10-10-50, and committed only to the minimum:

10,000 volunteer hours a month to help strengthen the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$10,000.00 a month donated to help fund the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$50,000.00 new dollars each month being redirected into the economy of the local community

*With 10,000 (ten thousand) persons "Down With 10-10-50, and committed only to the minimum:

100,000 volunteer hours a month to help strengthen the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$100,000.00 a month donated to help fund the efforts of community organizations and institutions.
$500,000.00 new dollars each month being redirected into the economy of the local community - 1/2 million. At this rate,
after one year, six million new dollars; but the foundation is each person doing their simple 10-10-50!

Think about these numbers… And think of what it would mean to have hundreds of our cities to duplicate the success of
these numbers. The math shows that millions of our people could be involved.
– Remember, not too long ago, October 16th 1995, we had more than a million Black Men come together physically in
one location in Washington, D.C.  

How then will we get large numbers of our people to “Be Down" with 10-10-50 and produce these powerful results? The
answer, in large part, is up to you and others who are aware of 10-10-50 at this early stage. If you and others would expose just one new person a month to 10-10-50, the numbers would explode. The Campaign will encourage all of us to
help build the numbers. - Of course we will continue to push the campaign using our flyer program, email, this website
and mass media.  

A major part of the 10-10-50 Campaign is to encourage community organizations, institutions and businesses to direct
their energy and resources to help promote and protect the vital interest of our community and people globally.
